Shakhtar Donetsk winger Tete has spoken highly of the Premier League and admitted that Liverpool and Manchester United are amongst the 'dream clubs' that he could join.


The 20-year-old has produced some impressive performances for Shakhtar since joining the club from Gremio in February 2019.

Tete has gained experience playing in the Champions League and revealed that Barcelona, Liverpool and United are the clubs that he would consider playing for if given the opportunity.

Tete told Esporte Interativo: 'Three clubs are part of my dream in Europe: Barcelona, Manchester United and Liverpool

'Gigantic clubs with fantastic managers and an incredible number of trophies. As a player, I dream of winning important titles and those clubs are incredible options to achieve that.

'I know United and Liverpool are rivals. But, if the moment of choosing one of them actually came about I would have to choose wisely.

'The Premier League is an extraordinary competition, the game is played at a great pace, there are lots of great managers and great clubs.'

Dr Osagie Ehanire, Nigeria's Minister of Health, has disclosed the drug used to treat COVID-19 patients in Nigeria. Addressing members of the House of Representatives today Tuesday May 5, Ehanire said Remdesivir is being used to treat patients with the virus. “We have been using that (Remdesivir); we have tried that in Lagos too. So, we have tried the antiretroviral drug to see what effect it has” he said The Minister said the drug which was originally developed as a potential treatment for Ebola, is one of the options which Nigeria has adopted for in treating COVID-19 patients. Remdesivir was tested in 1,063 hospitalized Coronavirus patients around the world and has proven to reduce the time it takes patients to recover by 31%. 11 days on average versus 15 days for those just given usual care.
